VPN To Domain Controller

I have a linux firewall and proxy server installed and wingate vpn on my 2003 server. The firewall has been configured to open the ports, and I can connect with the VPN. However, all computers come up as not accessible. I also can not ping the network when connected. I installed the RIP on the client machine. Connect through dial up internet connection on standaloneXP pro Notebook that is setup on the domain as well.
Please advise.
Thank you

Wingate VPN uses both TCP and UDP traffic through VPN port (port 809 by default) - make sure that UDP port is open as well.
