Hi Parnell Gang: Multi connections from remote clients. We have one host account on our VPN Server that is behind a standard Linksys router with port 809 TCP/UPD active directing the packets to a server on the lan. When we have more than one connection from the remote clients, they either cannot connect until the first one disconnects or the connected client is bumped off. The Client's subnets are all different. It is desirable to have about 14 clients connected to the one host connection at any one time. The clients will be sending medium (5 - 10 mb) of data each night. the bandwidth is 1.2mbps down to the server and 750 up. There are only a few cases where the server sends stuff to the clients. So the traffic is one way for the most part. What do you think is causing the disconnect? Should I set up a host for each location? I tried this and it does work, but it seems to me that one host should be able to handle 14 connections, or am I reading this wrong?
