Cannot ping or browse my server domain controller

Postby rmalucho » May 20 06 8:59 am

I am trying to use Wingate VPN to map to client drive letter via the VPN to a fileserver share. The fileserver is also Domain Controller and Wingate VPN server. I have installed the version 2.0 of Wingate VPN. Behind installation of Wingate VPN Server I cannot browse my network anymore and all stations of network cannot access this server or ping this. After stop the service Qbik Wingate Engine in Server and restart this all stations can access the server and ping this.

It’s a problem of configuration ?

Dear Genie

I have one network cards for Server Domain Controller and Wingate VPN

It's necessary two network card for configuration ? Don't possible the configuration VPN with one network card ? My internet gateway have two network card where I be mapped ports 809 UDP and TCP to Wingate VPN Server (Wingate VPN Server is also Domain Controller have one network card).

You can find out what Network Cards you have by looking in the "Description" field of an ipconfig/all

Start menu --> Run --> cmd --> ipconfig/all
