That all looks right. Can you access the server by using \\192.168.1.1 ? I don't think you will be able to, because you cannot ping it - but want to confirm that.

I finally fix the problem........

Postby ajdionne » Jan 31 04 10:22 am

Hello Pascal

I have now wingate working perfectly and the vpn connection is wonderful.

Unfortunatly because I have been trying to fix problem for more than a month, I have taken drastic measure.

By reinstalling Windows XP from scratch then installing wingate it cured the problem. It is too bad that I could not fix problem without reinstalling.

PLEASE NOTE AGAIN THAT PROBLEM STARTED FROM UPGRADE FROM 5.1.x AND 1.6.x TO PREVIOUS BUILD 5.2

Anyway thanks -

Best Regards

Andre

P.S. Do I need special permission to resel license to our new OEM control system
