KAV update date static

The reported date for the last update of the KAV signatures
has not changed since 1 April, despite forced updates to
ensure things are happening - it doesn't inspire confidence
we are on top of things. Any ideas?

The update should go through without problems, ours has been running for a significant amount of time. Are you sure it has downloaded new files ? (I.e. does the forced update show you a successful result ?)

Secondly, check in the folder if the files have changed in date/time. (<install>\Bases)

The last thing is, because the information is sent to GK only when you login (It's not dynamic in the 5.x versions) you will need to log off and log on again to see the change.
