KAV does not detect viruses

May 05 06 7:56 am

Virus Email-Worm.Win32.Scano.v passed through KAV 2.0 (WinGate 6.1.0). Why?

I received it by e-mail in backup.zip attachment. Quick scan of this file (I saved it to disk) does not detect virus too.

Acording to virus base it appeared in it yesterday. I updated plugin with Shedule task and with KAV for Wingate Updater today. But it does not help!!!

Some days ago I already faced with the same problem. Only restarting of Wingate helped me. Why?

My settings:

It detects viruses after restart again!!!

Today I restarted WinGate several times (during a day). After that I tried to detect virus in backup.zip (I saved it yesterday to my disk) with Quick Scan.
I "resolved" the problem using restart of WinGate again!!! I wonder why I have to restart WinGate to make virus detectable?

Hi Kiav,

I'm having a look at your problem now. What's your email address so I can contact you directly?

Thanks

Hm, private messaging is disabled on this forum. This is rather bad!

Ok, send me a letter to kiav1976[at]mail.ru

I wonder, why can not you see into my profile for my e-mail?
