Why Wingate Only Scans HTTP, But Not FTP, SMTP and POP

Postby rizal » Nov 21 03 4:38 pm

HI i just installed the latest version of Wingate 5.10 with Kapersky AV. I tested sending and receiving virus from http, ftp, pop and smtp. Only http was successfully detecting and corrupting the virus files, but all the other protocol let it through. Is thee any configuration that i did wrongly? Any advice or tips is greatly appreciated :)

For the other methods is the plugin enabled in each proxy service and is Transparent redirection enabled to put the traffic to the scanning plugin also.
