Confused. What if I already have Kaspersky AV?

I am already running Kaspersky Anti-Virus on the machine that is Wingate machine. If I am running the KAV Monitor is everything already being scanned or do I still need the plugin? Seems silly to be paying for KAV twice.

Does the version you have scan internet traffic as it comes into machine ? I.e. does it protect all the client machines using the WinGate Server as their Internet Gateway ?

If it does, then you probably don't need the plugin.
