puresight doesn't seem to block https:// entries and ..

I have http:// and https:// in the block list and then added "themac.org" and "sparrow.org" to the allow list (intention is to only allow access to these two web sites and nothing else).

Two things are happening:
1) if you bring up msn.com you get the primary page less a few graphics. upon clicking on any option you get the error message that it is being blocked but why is the first page coming up at all (I cleared the cache).

2) I can still get to mail.msu.edu and angel.msu.edu which are both https:// logins.

How can I set it up to only allow access to themac.org and sparrow.org?

Hi

HTTPS goes through WinGate in a different way, and since the data is encrypted from the server to your browser, then it is not able to be scanned by WinGate.

As for locking your system down to certain servers, you can specify only the servers that you will allow connection to in the WWW Proxy policies.
