Puresight Licence Issue

Postby Chris Hammond » May 07 04 9:35 pm

Running Wingate 5.2.3, Puresight 1.1

I am getting a system message in wingate stating my licence has expired or is invalid.

As far as I know it expires in December 2004.

I uninstalled and tried to reinstall with a 30 day trial but it came up as invalid also.

Is there a way I can check the licence details either on the PC or in Qbik's records.

I am currently running a school network with no filtering, so a quick solution would be appreciated.

TIA

Use your original license and add it into the License Screen in GateKeeper. (When you have it with the Trial installed). That way, it will tell you what the expiry date is.

Problem resolution

I deleted the Puresight for Wingate registry key containing the "corrupt" licence information and reinstalled Puresight.

HLKM/Software/Qbik Software/Wingate/Licence Manager/Puresight for Wingate/

I entered the licence info as usual and it appeared in the plug-in window as licenced.
