PureSight installation question

Postby mfitch » May 04 06 1:55 am

We are working with a library that has a divided network separating public patrons from internal library staff. We would like to have the publice patrons access the interenet via Puresight on a Wingate box.

The staff users will be on a domain and a Microsoft Small Business Server 2003 behind a Cisco Pix 501. They do not need to have content filtering.

Can this configuration be done? What are the issues that can be foreseen? How can the PIX and Wingate access the same interenet connection?

Thanks in advance, Mark

PureSight itself can be enabled by user/group. When authenticating through the OS userdatabase you can probably setup users/groups that will make this dead simple.

Where were you planning on installing WinGate? How do the public patrons currently access the internet?
