Policy for FTP Proxy Server: Client Connect

Postby Niwre » Jul 18 11 2:41 am

Hello Adrien,

how can I check the FTPUsername in this policy?
I can not find it in the Symbol-List.

Thank you for your help!

Hi

The Client Connect event is fired before the client sends anything, so there's no username available at that point.

We haven't published any other events for the FTP proxy yet. What would you like to see here?

Hi Adrien,

I have the Bindings of the FTP-Proxy Service to an External Adapter and
pipe requests to predetermined Server on another port.

In the Policys of Wingate 6 I check the FTPUsername for this connections.

I will to do exactly the same in Wingate 7.

OK.

One reason we didn't put the control in yet was because we didn't have a concrete use-case. Thanks for providing it!
