Installation fine - but no access

Postby E-S-D » Sep 19 11 7:18 pm

Hello everybudy!

I just installed the current beta 3 of wingate 7 on a win 2008 r2 box and the installation worked, but i just can´t open the management console??? I´ve already tried localhost and the netbios name of the server, always with the same result:

Connection with Wingate Server terminated.

What´s wrong?

Helpless regards from Germany

Hi

I've seen this before when there was an old version of WinGate 6 running, and that was the engine that started.

Was this an upgrade?

Hi Adrien!

It´s a clean install after replacing the server and we didn´t make an update, it´s a new installation, no update. We already tried uninstalling, reboot and new installation, but the problem is still there. We don´t install the network drive because we don´t want vpn / nat or something else on the server, can this be the problem?

Hi

not installing the driver shouldn't make any difference.

I can have a quick look with remote desktop if you like - or teamviewer, just email the details to me at adrien@qbik.com
