Running Gatekeeper in Ubuntu / About License

Postby sawi » Oct 17 11 3:58 am

Hi Wingate 7 Team

I have 2 Question :

1. Can I run Gatekeeper from remote machine that using ubuntu as OS?

2. If I buy Wingate License "now", I need to but wingate 6 license right?
Can I use wingate 6 license on wingate 7 beta?
If I buy wingate license, it's only for 1year? after 1 year I can't use wingate anymore without renew the license? or I just can't get support/latest update?

thanks :)

Hi

1. GateKeeper is a windows app, so it needs to run on windows. I don't know if anyone tried it on WINE or not.

2. Licenses aren't version specific any more. So if you buy a WinGate license, you can use it in WinGate 6 or WinGate 7. The license will work (make WinGate function) forever, it's just free major version updates that expires after a year unless you renew your version protection.

Regards
