Hi Walter. How have you implemented your banning? Have you done this through a Policy list lookup in a WWW Policy, or via Access Rules? Regardless of what method you have used for banning, you can use the same method to effectively have "Allow lists".

If you can tell me how you have set up your banning, I can tell you how to implement allowing.

Hi

try {{Request.Server}} instead of {{Request.URL}}

the URL is of the form http://server.com/

whereas the Server is just server.com - the site part of the URL.

URL may not be matching the content of that data list.

Hi Walter. Using a similar scheme to what you have already, combined with user/group checks and another data list you can get what you want. I've attached a policy file that you should be able to import to get you started.

There is an alternate way to do what you want with the classification and web access system. Let me know if you would like information on this.

Hi Walter

if you like, I can have a look remotely at your system.

Send an email to support@wingate.com if you'd like to try this. We normally recommend Teamviewer.

I'll be available a couple more hours.

OK, in there now.

in answer to your question about AD connector license restriction - it works in the trial or any pro or enterprise key. Since you have a 50 user, it can't be standard, so should work for that as well.

Hi

that's a DNS issue, and probably depends on how your DNS is set up with relation to that domain. Are you hosting DNS for that domain yourself internally?

You can add a DNS server to WinGate and tell it to use it for a specific domain (turn off probing on that server).
