Problem with ENS, this wil not work.

I have a problem with ENS.
ENS wil not work and this is wel active.

When i install Wingate again, ens wil not work again.
I have Wingate 5.2.3 on Windows 2000.

With 5.2.3, did you configure your adapters properly? You need to go into GateKeeper -> Options to set the adapters to "public and untrusted" (Internet) OR "private and trusted" (LAN).

Are those private IPs (192 range) on a single NIC or do you have different NICs for that? (Just trying to narrow the setup down a bit)

Erm... Why do you need IPs from the same range to be assigned to multiple NICs? Can you re-assign the internal IPs so that they belong to different subnets?

With one ip 192.168.0.1 (Lan) and 10.0.0.153 (WAN) wil ENS not work.
I see thet the firewall also not work.

What kind of hardware do you have - namely, what network cards and what WAN connection are you using?

Lan: SIS 900-basec PCI
Wan: 3COM Etherlink XL 10/100 pci combo

Nat and firewall from windows 2000 work well.

But the Firewall and NAT vrom Wingate not !

Now, have you tried v6? There have been quite a lot of changes in the driver, which made it far more flexible in terms of handling networking things.

Anyway, what symptoms does your network experience? Can you see any sessions in Gatekeeper when the client tries connecting to an internet host? Can you establish a connection from Wingate machine?

Yes, Socks Proxy and www proxy server is working !

One more question - you mentioned Win2k NAT and firewall - do you have them switched on or off? They might interfere with Wingate NAT.

When i start the Wingate Firewall and NAT than the Windows 2000 Firewall and NAT swits to stop first.

So, can you see any NAT connections in Gatekeeper?

No i can not see any NAT or Firewall detail in Gatekeeper.
Wel can i see a socks5 detail in Gatekeeper.

This will be deemed to be an internal adapter in WinGate. This will mean that there will be no NAT, and no firewall, since

a) NAT only works from internal adapters to external ones
b) firewall by default allows packets coming in on internal adapters.

Go into GateKeeper, select the Network tab (on the RHS), and double click on the external adapter. Set the type of network to which it is connected to "an external untrusted network".

Yes the External adapter have the property of "An external untrusted network (e.g. the internet)".

I have a DSL connection with a SpeedTouch 510I modem, this have the ip: 10.0.0.138 and my Server have the ip 10.0.0.153 with Gateway: 10.0.0.138.
The Default server in the modem have the ip: 10.0.0.153
