Use of FrontPage behind Wingate

Postby Patrick Doorn » Nov 05 04 9:22 pm

To update our webpages we use FrontPage 2000/2002.
When we use no proxy we can login to our webpage providing username and password.
When we use Wingate we provide username and password, but cannot login.
FrontPage provides a message stating it won't work with a proxy.
Can anybody help?

in options in frontpage, is a firewall setting, set that to your firewall host ip (where wingate server is) then set port to 21 and it should work fine. Is how i fixed ours anyways.

We are using dreamweaver now so i cant give you a screenshot, but that fixed it for us.

I did try, but no change. Thanks anyway.
Proxy-settings: ports 8080, except Socks: 1080. Works fine too, except for FrontPage 2000/2002...
Other clues?

In my proxy options, I set it up to "bypass for domains..." and set up my frontpage website as one of the bypassed domains.. this worked
