Postby danni » May 18 05 3:51 am

How can i do it?
I want to preserve the current configuration, evidently.
Which are the necessary steps to do it?

Thank you

Hi Danni,

Installing version 6.0.4 over the top should retain all of your existing settings. We do recommend backing up your registry before you upgrade though, in fact we recommend you back up your registry before you make any changes to WinGate, this will allow you to revert to the original settings if you make a mistake.

You can export your registry file by going to Options>Advanced and clicking the save registry settings button. Save the file to a safe location and upgrade away!

Regards,

Matt

Hi Ferry,

As Matt says above you can make a registry backup [always good idea].

You don't need to deactivate the licence, just install 6.0.4 will work without problem.
