Which version of Wingate are you using?
Jun 09 05 6:30 pm
Latest, 6.0.4

I've tried to delete from the client vpn the vpn network to join and load it again from config file.
Now the problem is: when I try to connect to company, Wingate VPN says: "The node name has already been registered with the VPN" and I'm no longer able to connect.

Sorry but today we had a lot of spam mail so I was wondering if you have already send me the new driver. Maybe our spam filter deleted you mail by mistake.

Hi, I've just sent it to you.

Driver installed but now I cannot even connect.
Server side (company) hystory log says: Unable to accept connection using SSL
Client VPN side remain un der "Connecting ..." status.
On client I've noticed it give a log saying "Wingate server uses a different verion" but I'm sure I've installed new driver on both sides. How can I check inside Wingate what driver is loaded?
I have to say that on both side I use ZoneAlarm but port 809 is open both TCP/UDP
Thanks

Hey Guys,
i was having a similar problem to Ero. Except i am running the VPN server on our Wingate Win2K Server machine.
Do i need that patch as well?
My problem was one step better than Ero's. I could see all of the computers in the workgroup, but i could only access the computer with the VPN server installed on it.
I did as one of the other posts had suggested and i enable all of the RipV2 options in the General Tab of the VPN server settings.
Thanks,
Matt

Hi, mcb
In your case the problem is most probably the routing - make sure that the workstations have their default route through your VPN machine or they have RIP clients installed.

Hi, Eros
Can you please, check that Wingate versions are the same on both sides of the VPN?
Jun 10 05 10:37 pm
Thei are the same:
Server side:
GateKeeper version 6.0.4 (Build 1025)
For Wingate 6.0.4 (Build 1025)
Client side:
GateKeeper version 6.0.4 (Build 1025)
For Wingate 6.0.4 (Build 1025)
I will try to go back with old driver as soon a I can and report back here.
Thanks

Hello,
i have been having problems connecting to our VPN gateway Server from a VPN client through the internet. it is giving errors "invalid username/password", "authentication error", "access denied". i have verified both username and password at both ends, reset it but no luck.
i had installed the trail version of VPNOnly2.0.3.1005-USE on the both machine and was able to connect perfectly, after the expiration i bought the licensed version of VPNOnly2.0.4.1025-USE and after reinstalling on the Gateway server only, that is when this problem started. Can you pls help me, i have ran out of ideas.
Thanks
