Socket Error and Request Processing Error

Postby mirzaadnan » Jul 17 05 10:44 pm

Hi,
We have Windows 2000 Server installed on our server. Which has domain controller named "PMO". Wingate 5 is also installed on the same server.
Most of the time when a user hits a page(requests for a page or resource), the request is not processed. Rather a message"HTTP 500 Internal Server Error" is displayed in title bar of browser. User has to refresh 3 or 4 times to get this resource. Sometimes it appears "Socket Error 10049 {Thd 2580}" when a user refreshes the page.
We are using Intel(R) 536EP Modem(Half Duplex) for connecting through dialup.
Could anyone please help us out?

Hi mirzaadan can you upgrade Wingate to the V6.0.4, really this could be a solution and is recommended by the builders of Wingate.

[edit] Your V5 Wingate key will work with the latest version. :-) [/edit]

When you do upgrade read this post first for a helping hand --> http://forums.qbik.com/viewtopic.php?t=2834

Report back and someone will take it further.
