Problem with Downloads on Clients behind Wingate 6.1.1 HELP!

Postby drk91 » Jan 06 06 7:04 am

Clients behind the Wingate firewall click on downloadable links, any kind... .wmv, .mpg, .exe. etc... they are either never able to connect or sometimes (rarely) they are able to connect after waiting 10 to 15 min.

However these same links work fine from the Wingate Server, even when forcing the browser on the Server to go through the proxy.

Using manual proxy settings or transparent redirection doesn't make any differecnce... we do not use the client for wingate software either!

HELP!

Thanks in advance!

Are you using any plugins?

yes.... PURESIGHT, but i went in there and tested all the URLS that were trying to be downloaded from and they all passed and I told PureSight to let any instance of these sights by.

As you have the plugin installed I'm assuming you've configured your clients to go through the proxy (Either through intercepts or directly). If that is the case, switch to the Plugins tab and ensure that drip feeding is on.
