problem loging into wingate

I get call from users that they can't get to the internet. When I try to log into wingate to see if there's a problem I get this error after typing the password.
there was a problem connecting to the server. no data was received the during authorization.
If I stop and restart the service it let's me in.

Hi,

Out of interest which version of Wingate?

If not 6.1.1 then I suggest to upgrade as a solution to what is probably history logging corruption.

Current licence keys for older versions will work with the latest upgrade.

Otherwise, try Stopping Wingate and deleting the history files in the program directory:

HISTORY.CDX
HISTORY.DBF

See if the problem clears for a while and or reduce the logging of both History and other services, even better turn them off if not used.
