Sounds like you have locked yourself out of the GateKeeper. This could be caused by modifying a policy in the Remote Control Service, or in the System Policies if the Remote Control Service also checks policies there;
i.e. Default Rights = May be used instead, or Must also be granted.
The following registry file will add the Administrator to the Remote Control Service, and set the Default Rights to "Are Ignored"; please review your Remote Control Service's policies after applying the fix.
You will need to:
1. Stop the WinGate Engine.
2. Backup your current WinGate registry (I always say that, but not essential.)
3. Apply this Registry file:
http://www.wingate.com/downloads/remote ... egfile.zip
4. Start the WinGate engine.
5. Log in and review the Remote Control Service and your System Policies.
**The Remote Control Service looks after Authentication in WinGate; it also allows remote sessions of the GateKeeper if your license allows it.
***If there is no password on the Administrator Account, then the Remote Control Service will only bind to the localhost address; setting an Administrator Password is important if you need your LAN clients to authenticate.
