I have both cable and dsl. I use dsl as a backup since it's cheap, but it's only 768k, compared to 10mbit cable. I play a lot of World of Warcraft. As anyone who plays would know, there are many servers to choose from in the game. Certain servers are incompatible w/ my cable provider, the game will lag out every time as soon as I log in. I don't get this problem on dsl. This is a known issue with certain cable companies. My config right now is 1 network card, 1 router, and the cable modem. When I use dsl, I unplug the cable modem, and plug the dsl in. For now.
What I'd like to do is configure Wingate so that when I load this game, it will route all the game traffic to and fro through dsl only, not the cable modem. I plan to buy a 2nd network card so I can have both dsl and cable plugged in, so I can continue to take advantage of cable's speed and d/l stuff in the back. Is this possible? All WoW traffic through dsl, everything else through cable?
If this is do-able, would someone kindly point out how this would be setup? Thanks much:)
