I have problem in Wingate configuration, clients can not able to access emails through out look express. Browser is working fine.
I have to following setup
DSL Modem (NAT Enabled - Routed PPPoE - Static-IP – NAPT )
IP Address: 10.200.167.105
Subnet: 255.0.0.0
Windows 2000 with two NIC Cards :
1 ) LAN ( Connected to Local Network
3 ) WAN ( Connected to DSL Modem)
LAN: 192.200.167.12
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
WAN: 10.200.167.70
Subnet: 255.0.0.0
Gateway: 10.200.167.015
DNS: 212.71.32.19 / 212.71.32.20
CLIENT:
IP: 192.200.167.15
SU: 255.255.255.0
GW: 192.200.167.12
Proxy: 192.200.167.12: 8080
Wingate setup
In Wingate system: I disabled the pop3 server, SMTP server, dhcp services only
Extended Network Drivers
Firewall disabled
Policies: Every one (unrestricted)
Remote service
Binding : any adapter
Policies: every one unrestricted
[u]www services [/u]
Binding: local Adapter
Gateway: any available
Session: Transparent proxy not selected
Connection: through cascade proxy (212.71.32.88: 8080)
Policies: every one unrestricted...
This is my Wingate setup... the problem is only client can not able to access his email through his outlook express,
pop3: mail.technose.net
SMTP: mail.technose.net
We have several more email accounts have to access though outlook.
Also messenger not working , can not able to ping
www.google.com from dos command...
If need more information I can provide... I hope this information helps you to solve my problem... the above settings are exactly what I have configured..
