Problem with AD User synchronization.

Postby FishBoneMSK » Jun 10 07 12:42 am

Hi!

I have the problem with Synchronization with AD in WinGate Entherprise 6.2.1.

When I try to use NT Users Database from the DC instead WinGate database I can't reach the result. After pressing the "Synchronize Now" buttion in User Database Options I only have an Local Users in Users panel.

It seems like WinGate can't import Users from AD.

It's twice strange because we have another one WinGate server in our company which use NT authentication from the same DC and work properly...

Could someone help me in this situation?

Thanks in advance!

Did you create a user called "wingate" in the Active Directory User Database?
Then on the WinGate Server, did you set the "Qbik WinGate Engine" to log in with that "wingate" account in the Windows Services?

(Windows) Start menu --> run --> services.msc

Yes, I've created domain User for WinGate service. And it's user have a Local Administrator rights on computer where WinGate server is running and limited AD Administrator rights (Administrator's rigths for OU where our network presented).

Except for that I have another one strange thing with WinGate and AD working. Notwithstanding that I cant see any AD users when I press "Synchronization Now" button in my WinGate Users Database, AD users can appear one behind one in WinGate database if I choose option "Synchronize individual users then they log in for the first time".

The "wingate" user needs to be a member of the Domain Admin group.
