DNS respond delay !

Postby etimag » Aug 13 07 9:10 pm

Hi,

I have recently change my adsl modem. After doing it my DNS respond times are very slow now. When I connect to a web page I wait about 10-20 sec. If I change my connection from mozilla direct connection to manual than it is ok. Is this because of Modem change. How I can solve this problem. I also attached my dns resolver debug.

Bye,

Hi all,

I put my question and right after I have solved. Here what I did very simple;

My internal IP is 10.10.1.1 and my adsl modem was 192.168.0.1 and had a very slow dns reply. So I changed the modem ip to 192.168.1.1 and everthing comes back to normal. All DNS replies are very fast now.

Hope this helps others...

Cheers from Istanbul !
