File download finished/stopped after 75%

Files are only downloaded for 75%. After 75% the file says download completed. No matter where and what size of File I am downloading. I have made 20 different tries which all bring the same result.

I am using Wingate 5.2 with the actual AntiVirus Plugin.

Hi there

Do you have an Antivirus plugin (Kaspersky or Visnetic) installed?
Because of the way the WinGate AV plugin scans (as outlined in "Settings tab" page of the the helpfile) If a client attempts to download an infected file they may still receive up to 75% of the file as it is passed through the plugin.

If you are using an AV plugin, is it set to scan FTP traffic? and if so is it set to Quarantine, or discard the file? You could set it to quarantine and see if the file you are attempting to download is infected and inturn Quarantined.

As a last resort try turning of the AV plugin on the FTP service and see if you can download the whole file ( but beware, as from you description these files may be infected and FTP proxy data will no longer be scanned).

Hi Erwin,

I have turned off the Plugin at the WWW, FTP and PROXY and then downloaded the File - it worked.

Then I turned everything back on and tried to scan the File - but the Visnetic AV Plugin could not scan the File. I trust in Copernic as a long term customer and so I installed the Software.
