Blocking outgoing ports from Wingate server

Postby littlegaz84 » Dec 19 07 9:44 am

Hi, is it possible to block outgoing connections (to the internet) on certain ports from the Wingate server itself? When I configure ENS to deny outgoing ports it only seems to work for LAN connections and not the server itself

Hi,

From the Server which has a direct connection to the Internet you could force all services to connect via the Localhost // eg: 127.0.0.1:80 for web browsing.

However services such as Windows Update will ignore that though.
