block download movie audio video file

im using wingate plz let me know how can i block downloading files like *.mp3, *.rm, *.exe etc..
plz let me know the each step.

Simply create a policy in the WWW proxy with the criterion

"NOT met" "HTTP URL contains" ".mp3""

That will block access to any links that contain .mp3 in them and therefore not allow any to be downloaded.

We recommend that you update your version of WinGate to the latest version. Did you mean version 5.2? Is there any reason why you're running such an old version?
