Hi,

I have Wingate 6.0.4 since I have not paid for the upgrade license. I installed Wingate on a Windows 2008 server the other day. The ENS component did not appear to get installed. I uninstalled and reinstalled and still it wasn't there. My friend suggested that it (ENS and/or Wingate) would not work with 2008. Is this true?

This is true. The current releases of WinGate (up to version 6.2.2) do not include an ENS driver that supports Windows Vista. However, our next release (version 6.5) will.

Unfortunately this is really a Microsoft problem not a QBIk problem. Microsoft has seen fit to make sure that as little as possible existing software still runs on its new operating systems. Go figure.
