Two lines are used by turn for each new (proxy!) request. So you will feel the difference only if you are making a few or better a lot of similar requests. I mean, downloading one large file and surfing 10 web-sites will not allow you to fully feel the difference too, because the line used for downloading will be fully clogged.
So if you are a home user, not an office admin, I doubt Wingate will justify your hopes...
thanks
does that mean that wingate wont be able to give me what i want?
i am a programmer and not network person.
what i want is
i have one connection which downloads at 50KBps and 2nd connection which downloads at 20KBps ,now what i want is get 65-70KBps download speed using both
not
use connection 1 and if it goes down then use line 2
i came through this tutorial
asadahmad.com/tutorials/tut_multiple_connections.htm
and felt it could be done.
so is the tutorial not complete...
it uses word "use both connection simulatenously...." not in turn
i was lost in that proxy part and seems like screen shot are also for old version
