Wingate 5.2.3 problems

Postby andrisrekke » Feb 25 04 1:09 am

It is impossible to connect to the remote administration of Wingate after the version upgrade from 5.2.2 to 5.2.3 (the version is upgraded on the server and my computer).

There is a following mistake:

"There was an internal error in Wingate. You should check your
system settings"

Also "Kaspersky plug in" is not scaning archive (zip) files through NAT.

What I have to do?

You need to enable transparent redirection (Sessions -> Redirect ENS / WGIC Sessions checked) so traffic will pass through the plugins.

On the REMOTE machine try deleting the reg key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Qbik Software

This is where all of Gatekeepers settings are stored. Once you have deleted this re-open Gatekeeper.

As always make sure you make a back up of your registry before editting it.

Are you using the NT user database?
