Force Username and Password required via Browsers

Hi,

I'm new to WinGate so please forgive me....

I want to force a user to enter a username and password in their browser to get through the http proxy. How to I go about doing this?

Hi,

I have now added an Access Rule which forces Auth to everyone and have setup a single User to test. The browser now asks for Username and Password but my test user doesn't work?

What am I doing wrong :(

Is the test user authorised to access web?

Maybe it's authing properly but being denied. E.g. because it's not in a required group or something.

You can tell if the auth works by checking the log files, they will have the correct username if the auth worked.
