Flow-chart policy problem

Postby sawi » Nov 11 15 4:34 am

Hi Wingate Team.

Using latest build.

Problem :
-Edit flow-chart policy
-save (last modified date show to latest date = today)
-after restart wingate engine/reboot server, flow-chart revert back (last modified date show date = last month)
-try reinstall wingate, problem not solved

no problem with other section like adding credential or adding user, everything will still there after restart wingate engine.

thanks

Hi

The only way I could imagine that happening is if you only have read access to the policy.

Can you check permissions for the policy you're trying to edit?

If you disconnect Wingate Management and reconnect are the changes also still reverted, or does it only revert on WinGate restart? If the latter, that would imply the registry is getting restored somehow.

Regards

It only happen when stop/restart wg engine.
If just disconnect/reconnect wg management no problem.

Hi

OK, another possibility is that WinGate can't write to the registry key that the policy is in.

You could try exporting the policy to a file, deleting it then re-importing it.
