tq and nat

Postby ingeltra » Feb 22 04 5:45 am

i use wingate 5.0.7 but it doesn't matter what version...
as soon as i install tq (tellique, accelerator script for sattelite download) with wingate ens enabled, the sattelite conection doesn't work..
when i disable nat, it starts to work. i believe the problem has something to do with the browser configuration 127.0.0.1 port 9202 (for sattelite connection) since wingate also uses 127.0.0.1 . however is the any fix for this problem?

i tried to disable wingate firewall in the ens but it doesn't work unless i disable ens. so any ideas?

Do you have port 9202 open in the firewall?

first of all i disabled the firewall long ago and the i always disable wingate history when i install wingate so that it doesn't freeze from time to time.

next, it sounds that you are not quite familiar with the problem to reply or help.

thanks for trying to help but recently, i installed wingate 5.2.3 after formatting and it seems like the bug is fixed in the new version now the tq software works fine even with the default firewall configuration.

note that when i formatted i installed the same programs that where before formatting like norton 7.6 and intel active monitor (in system tray)
so it must only be that the new version solved the problem.
