Hey, i got msn 6.0 and the lateist build of wingate but the vidio convosation still wont work, it says:

You have accepted the invitation to start viewing webcam.

Technical problems prevent you from having a webcam conversation at this time. Please try again later.

<censored> has stopped viewing webcam with you.

and i dont know what im doing wrong, everything else is all ok and everythings running as it should? any ideas would be appricited

I take it you are using the NAT to make client connections out from your LAN to the internet? We tested this with MSN 6.1 only, so you may need to move to the latest version of MSN, and of course both ends will need this version.

i have the same problem, with version 6.1,

looks like a similar problem as with the web cam with yahoo on this forum.


perhaps a course of action similar to the solution provided there might offer some help.

.....i'm going crazy can't make this cam to work over messenger

How do you have the client machines set up? They connect out via NAT? This is the only tested way. Setting a proxy in MSN messenger, or using the WGIC is not supported. Do you have any special settings in MSN?
