Can anyone help with this type of configuration.
I have 7 PCs configured to access WG SMTP ServerI to collect mail (Pop3) and send mail SMTP. I have a POP3 gwy program (EFS) which forwards incoming mail from ISP to WG SMTP Server for distribution. I want to eliminate the EFS and pop3 catchall at the ISP by taking a direct SMTP feed from them.
I assume I have to bind port 25 to the external interface. What else do I have to do? I have tried this but the ISP can see WG SMTP server listening on port 25. I have also added a NAT rule to my ADSL router to let the ISP through - still doesn't work. My mail is queuing up at the ISP SMTP feed waiting.
