Cleints connect then Host will say share is inacessabil

Postby phil » Apr 03 04 3:26 pm

I have Windows 2000 server running the host VPN and 4 clients to attach
to the host. To share a windows share on the server. The clients will find the
shares on the other LAN and thing will work fine. Then if you go in with
another client it will connect. But the server and all the other system on the Lan will be in accessabile for some reason. No client can access the
server it is not accessable. This is a trail license on all machines. Any ideas
on way this happens ? How do I fix it ?

Thank you
phil

Yes
I have them forwared and can hook up to the server and work for a
while then it gets really slow and loses the connections. Then I can not
reconnect for a long time. But I can see the shares.

Thank you

Hi Phil,

What is the current status of the system ? Can you get to the shares, browse them and copy files across with more than one client connected ? (Or just one, if no to the previous one)
