Wingate, Domino and W2k server

I have a W2k server on which is a Domino mail server.
I would like to use Wingate 5 on the machine, but I'm not sure if it will work: at my last job we had Wingate 4, which shared the connection superbly and controllably, but would not proxy SMTP in/out to our cc:Mail SMTP Link - I had to have Link bypass Wingate entirely to send and receive mail.
Will the same problem occur with Domino and Wingate 5?
Was it a configuration issue?
(BTW - I'm aware of the DNS conflicts with Active Directory and the workarounds).

Hi,

WinGate version 5 has a built-in email server so it should handle your smtp requests fine. There's a great document on our website that you should have a look at to see if it fits your requirements.
