can't ping external sites behind wingate

I have wingate 5.0.6 and users can't ping sites from the lan
My domain in windows 2000 server
I redirect to internal IP of wingatePC in my dns but no solution
I use NAT and my firewall is active or not the result is the same.

from wingate serveur i can ping any server
but from lan , i can't ping the wingate server but when even if in extended Networking the allow users to ping this machine locally is enabled.
when IDisable wingate firewall ican ping wingate server but coudn't ping external sites.
Is it a problem of configuration ???

its a probelm with ens make sure its enabled with default setting ( setting local machine to ping server internally does not really matter)
in older versions i didn't install ens so i couldn't ping websites but in the new versions enabling ens solves the problem.

you might also check if when your pinging you get timeout means your connection is too slow or if it is unreachable which indicates a problem with ens.
