welcome minimay60 :)

try upgrading ur wingate to version 5.2.3 or beta 6 and see if that solve ur problem.

if it does not, try the following:

for the "Connection with Wingate server terminated" issue, go to Caching > under Caching Properties > untick "Enable additons to cache" click OK

also check ur bindings for conflict ports (assuming u r running other services aside from wingate e.g. web server)

for ur last q's... upgrading wingate mostly resolves that issue :)

pls post back ur findings. tnx

For the first issue, you can turn off auto-activation of the system messages pane by

1. right-click on the system messages window
2. choose options
3. uncheck "Auto-activate Syslog when error occurs"

For the issue of your GateKeeper connection being disconnected, make sure on the Sessions tab of the Remote Control Service, that timeouts are disabled. If this still then happens, let me know. Is there a lot of activity going through the proxy?

For you final issue, there should be nothing stopping any users on your network from using either NAT or proxy. That will normally depend on their configuration. Browsers that are configured to use "automatic proxy detection" will find WinGate however and may configure themselves to use a proxy automatically.

Not sure if I fully understand the issue but I'll have a go:
