In Yahoo Messanger VDO chat / Web Cam is not broadcasting

i'm not sure what type of setup u got, if ur using WGIC or not? DHCP or what? anyway, basing on my own setup:

client side:
for YM - go to Login > Preferences > select No Proxies
for PC - network settings, dns should be enable, gateway must be present (e.g. 192.168.0.1 assuming that is ur wingates ip addy)

server side:
wingate - ENS must be enabled, installed & running... on Port settings, LAN Connections to internet must be set to Allow

that's it for awhile, juz post back ur results. tnx :)

i am not using WIGC i am using

for YM try the settings ive provided, select No Proxies from preferences. u may be able to login to yahoo but not for webcam on port 80.

on ur wingate server, enable ENS. set allow on LAN connection to internet
