RRAS problem

Postby Bob Tucker » Oct 06 05 5:02 pm

At a client site, Wingate 6.0.4 is installed on a Windows 2003 SP1 server with RRAS. RRAS is used for dialin access only. A problem related to RRAS and Wngate has recently occured. The ARP cache on all of the network adapaters becomes corrupt and cannot be deleted. Restarting RRAS and then restarting Wingate will work around the problem, but the problem occurs again after a dial-in connection is made, and Wingate will fail. This was not a problem until recently. This may be related to Windows 2003 SP1 as nothing was changed in RRAS or Wingate since that upgrade - and there was no problem prior to the upgrade to SP1. Any ideas?

Kindest Regards,

Bob Tucker
