Hi
We deprecated the SMTP mapping proxy in WinGate 7. Normally now people use the SMTP service and SMTP delivery service to deliver to whichever destination you choose.
the existing configuration is still supported though, which is why the proxy still functions.
The SMTP proxy was very primitive. You could specify inbound accepted domains and internal server, and outbound server but that was it.
Are you using it for inbound mail as well?
the SMTP server does a much better job, and has many more security features and policy control.
