For some reason when I click to start gate keeper it says "connection with wingate server terminated" and it will lot let me into wingate. If someone could assist I would appreciate it.

Hi Gary,
A couple of things for you to check:
Using the localhost login, logging in to port 808
Using the adminstrator username and password
Check that the WinGate engine is running (systray icon will be blue)
You're not running ZoneAlarm

I have tried all of these things. I made sure of the password. logging to port 808. I dont have zonealarm but I do have norton corporate. I have always had that running.

This should solve your problem but you could also search the forum for remote + delete for other ideas.

Thanks so much . Fixed the problem. I had deleted the "everyone" entry and I put it back and now I am in.

Early I solved this problem and got back in. Re-adding the everyone user and deleting the administrator subkey worked. But now it dont. It gets me in but nothing works now. I can see anything but I am online.
Please help. I know I am missing something simple.

If you've logged in but you can't see anything except the history and the firewall tab then it sounds like you're not logged with administrator rights. You should go through the process to delete the administrator password but this time delete the whole administrator key. When you restart the engine the administrator user should be recreated for you.
