SecureCRT Timeout problem

Trying to run SecureCRT thro WinGate. It does connect okay BUT always times out after 230 - 250 secs every time.

It's using a NAT connection on port 22 - I changed the NAT settings to add a hole for port 22 and set the timeout to Never. No effect. I've set nearly every timeout I can find to Never in an effort to cure this but no effect.

Anyone please tell me how to cure this?

Update your installation to build 1005 (the latest one) - previous build has a bug in handling connection timeouts.

Thanks - I have it downloaded ready. In fact I did already cure it though - I had the app set up to use SOCKS which was the problem. Once I set it to use nothing basically, it found the NAT and everything worked with timeout set to None.

I've been using WinGate for a week now after months of problems with the latest WinProxy. Seems to be working well once I got the hang of the nuances - so congratulations on a very nice piece of software (from someone who started their programming career back in 1978....)
