Hello.
Here's a weird one. We have WG 6.0.4 (build 1025) withan adsl connection. When going to the website "www.guatecompras.gt" and using the search forms there (say, the one that reads "Consulta por NOG:" and typing '148075' no quotes) we always get a page that says:
Server Error in '/' Application.
Runtime Error
Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.
When we connect directly (i.e. not through Wingate) the page works just fine, so it must be an issue with either wingate itself or our current setup.
Any ideas as to what may be causing this?

When I go to that web page in question, and search for the number; it works as expected. I get the following webpage returned:
This was tested on a Win98 box as a client with the WinGate server set as the proxy in IE. The WinGate server was version 6.0.4 running on Windows 2000 Server. Another colleague had tested when he saw it on the russian forum; it worked fine for him too.
1. What version of WinGate are you using?

Yes, the page you get is the expected result. Somehow it doesn't work on our current setup. I wonder if I have to change some configuration somewhere but I'm quite clueless now. All clients going through wingate get the same error page.
Here are a few more details.
Win NT 4 Domain in LAN with over 12 client computers. Wingate ver 6.0.4 installed on an XP Pro Box connected to an ADSL Router.
Almost all clients run XP pro too. Network is setup with static IP addresses and using Proxy configuration to go through wingate. Some user restrictions set. What should I look into?[/img]

Have you tried making a caching policy for that website?
