Hi There!
We have an application that needs to every day go out and verify it's license validity at a http address on port 80. How can I configure Wingate to allow this application from all the PC's in our office.
I am new to Wingate relatively so step by step would be best. I tried looking in the knowledge base but couldn't find anything. We run WG6 Pro.

The first thing you need to do is figure out how the clients are connecting to the Internet. For instance, are you setting the proxy manually in the client, are you using NAT, or are you using the WinGate Internet Client?
Since you said "Non Proxy Aware Application" in the subject line, I would assume that your application needs to have a NAT connection through WinGate. This means, the client must have it's default gateway pointed to the WinGate server, and the DNS server must be able to resolve Internet domain names (In most cases, the DNS setting on the client can point to the WinGate server as well since WinGate includes a DNS server).
That's as far as I can get you without knowing more about your network topography and WinGate configuration. If you require further assistance, please submit a support ticket at the helpdesk and include the following information.
1. WinGate Registry
GateKeeper --> Options menu --> Advanced --> Save Registry
2. WinGate Config Report
GateKeeper --> Options menu --> Advanced --> Save Config Report
3. ipconfig/all from one LAN Client
(Windows) Start menu --> Run --> cmd --> ipconfig/all >> C:\ipa-client.txt
4. ipconfig/all from the WinGate Server
(Windows) Start menu --> Run --> cmd --> ipconfig/all >> C:\ipa-server.txt

Actually there's a product named 'ProxyAware' that makes non-proxy-aware applications proxy-aware
refer to
http://www.ifayfly.com/proxyawareHTTP proxy protocol I think is supported by 'ProxyAware'; Besides, SOCKS5 and SSH proxification are also supported.
If you think one proxy server isn't enough to get to your target host, you can even chain multiple proxy servers together to dig a tunnel for your application
