My WinGate 7.0.8 (Build 3364) on Windows Server 2008 R2 always notifies me about a policy problem as in the attachment. This is a sample policy that was created during installation and I think I did not modify it.

How do I solve this "Provider not available"?
Another problem is the blue "100.0%" line between the *WWW Proxy Server: ClientConnect" box and the "direct connection" box appears only when my mouse is over certain area, or I click that area. Is this normal? This missing lines behavior happens to some other policies as well. Those policies that has visible lines have brighter background (not that gray as in the attachments). Have a look at the following image, only arrowheads appears.

Just found out that the missing lines happens only to disabled policy, which also changes the background color.

That's a licensing thing.
That type of policy item is only available for an enterprise license.
When you don't have an enterprise license, the provider for that type of item is not registered, so you see that error.
You can just delete it, it's just a sample policy.

I see, I did changed from 'Enterprise Trial' to 'Professional Trial'.
1) I need to confirm whether the Policy and event assignments are available in Wingate Professional. When I right-click some events (Control Panel -> Policy -> Events tab) and click "Assign Policy", I get a "License Warning" that says "Feature restricted by license". An example is the "AuthFailed" event for "Users and Groups".
Does that mean that some events are available only to Enterprise? But if I switch to Enterprise trial, the same message appears, the difference is that the "Policy for Users and Groups" dialog does appear after clicking OK.
2) Is there a webpage that shows detailed differences between Professional and Enterprise?

Hi
there's 2 types of such dialog. One that is a warning (but lets you do it), and another that you get when your license doesn't allow you to do something.
you can turn off the first one in your trial options. It's just telling you the feature may disappear if you buy a license that doesn't allow that feature.
But if you say trial a standard license or pro license, you will be prevented from accessing enterprise features etc.
There is a more detailed web page, but it doesn't go into exact specific events.
In general, all events are either available for all licenses, or just enterprise - there's no extra ones for just pro. these events relate to things like WinGate start and stop, users and groups.

here's the page
http://www.wingate.com/wingate7pricing.phpit only talks about "advanced WinGate Events" I'll do a code search for the exact ones.

Restricted events: Enterprise license is required for these events.
WinGate: Start
WinGate: Shutdown
WinGate: ShutdownCancelled
Users and Groups: PreAuth
Users and Groups: AuthFailed
WInGate Update Engine: Before Install
WInGate Update Engine: After Install
There may be more events that are restricted as more events are added into WinGate.
